What exactly is a hair transplant operation?
Hair transplantation is a permanent aesthetic procedure in which hair follicles (grafts) taken from a healthy donor area not coded for hair loss are transferred to thinning or completely bald areas using microsurgical techniques.

Anyone with permanent hair loss, sufficient healthy hair follicles for transfer in the donor area (usually the nape of the neck), and no chronic health problems that would prevent the operation is a suitable candidate for hair transplantation. A detailed examination and hair analysis will be performed to create the most appropriate plan for you.

Our clinic utilizes cutting-edge and modern technologies, including Sapphire FUE, which provides maximum density and rapid healing, and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation), offering natural hair direction and hair transplantation, all tailored to the patient’s specific hair loss type and anatomy.
The procedure time generally varies between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the technique used and the number of grafts (hair follicles) to be transferred. Since the procedure is performed under local anesthesia, it is painless and you will experience this time quite comfortably.
Mild redness and scabbing are expected in the first few days after the operation. Most of our patients can return to their daily routines within 3-4 days. Washing for the first 10-15 days is done under the guidance of our specialists. After the temporary shedding of transplanted hair (shock shedding), it takes an average of 10-12 months for new hair to grow and for the final result to be achieved.
Will I have a noticeable scar on my head after the operation?
No, it won’t remain. In modern Sapphire FUE and DHI techniques, hair follicles are harvested and implanted one by one using micro-motors and special pens (Choi Implanter), so no incisions or stitches are made. This ensures that no visible, permanent scars or stitches are left in the donor or recipient area.
Your transplanted hair will last a lifetime. Because the hair follicles used in hair transplantation are taken from the nape of the neck (donor area), which is genetically the most resistant area to hair loss, they retain this resistance and do not fall out when transferred to their new location.
Hair transplantation only thickens thinning areas by adding new hair follicles; it does not stop the genetic hair loss process of your existing hair. To protect and strengthen your existing hair, our specialists may recommend PRP, mesotherapy, or medical treatments after the operation.
No, it’s not always necessary. Especially when using the DHI technique, “unshaven hair transplantation” is possible for women or men who wear their hair long. By shaving only a small window-like area in the donor region (the nape of the neck), it is camouflaged among the other long hair, and you can return to social life much faster.
Hair transplant costs vary depending on the technique used, the number of grafts needed, and the package contents.
