When is the best time for post-bariatric surgery?
Generally, after bariatric surgery, your weight loss should be largely complete, and your weight should have been stable for a certain period of time. This period varies between 6 and 18 months for most patients. If your weight is still dropping rapidly or fluctuating frequently, it is better to wait a little longer before undergoing body contouring procedures.
This varies depending on your health condition, body type, and the surgeon’s safety criteria.
